Scarecrows Assemble! Professor Hollow has struck again—our beloved heroes have been transformed into scarecrows! Now they stand frozen in straw along the streets of Downtown Hartsville, waiting for a rescue mission from creative minds like yours.

We’re calling on families, businesses, schools, organizations, and community groups to join the fight by building your own superhero-inspired scarecrow! Whether guarding a storefront or joining the Wandering Scarecrows along our sidewalks, your creation will be part of an unforgettable downtown display.

From October 1–30, residents and visitors will explore Downtown Hartsville to admire each hand-crafted scarecrow, vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice Award, and celebrate the incredible creativity of our community.

Registration Deadline: September 26, 2025 — Don’t miss out!
Scarecrows On Display: October 1–30, 2025
Voting Period: October 1–30, 2025
Winners Announced: October 31, 2025

📍 How to Register:
Read all rules and regulations then complete the form. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive your scarecrow placement location the week of September 22nd. ALL SCARECROWS MUST BE IN PLACE BY SEPTEMBER 30TH.
