Scarecrows Assemble! Professor Hollow has struck again—our beloved heroes have been transformed into scarecrows! Now they stand frozen in straw along the streets of Downtown Hartsville, waiting for a rescue mission from creative minds like yours.

We’re calling on families, businesses, schools, organizations, and community groups to join the fight by building your own superhero-inspired scarecrow! Whether guarding a storefront or joining the Wandering Scarecrows along our sidewalks, your creation will be part of an unforgettable downtown display.

From October 1–30, residents and visitors will explore Downtown Hartsville to admire each hand-crafted scarecrow, vote for their favorites in the People’s Choice Award, and celebrate the incredible creativity of our community.
