2023 Heart of the Holidays Festival Sign Up

THE ARTISAN MARKET IS FULL AND IS IN LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE VENDORS AREA ON NOVEMBER 16TH AND THE CRAFT SHOW AND CARNIVAL ON NOVEMBER 18TH.

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the 2023 Heart of the Holidays Festival! This new event will welcome thousands of visitors to Downtown Hartsville on November 16th-18th. Like last year, we will offer the Artisan Market, which will be held at The Edition, located at 221 N. 5th Street, during the Downtown Holiday Open House event on November 16th, 2023 from 6 p.m.– 9 p.m. Vendors should plan to check in between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30p.m. p.m. and will be assigned to a booth during the event. We are also allowing vendors to line the streets of W. Carolina Avenue for this event. Vendors on W. Carolina Avenue will be required to check in at 4:30pm and must have your car moved before 5:00pm. More information will be sent closer to date. Applications will close on Tuesday, November 14th, at noon.

New this year is the Holiday Wine & Art Walk (November 17th) and the Holiday Carnival (November 18th). The Holiday Wine and Art Walk welcomes artists (visual, performing, etc.) to partner with a local business to showcase and create art while customers sample their favorite wines. To participate as an artist, please sign up through Black Creek Arts Council.

Finally, on November 18th, from 11am-3pm, we will host a Holiday Carnival & Craft Show for families. This is a great opportunity for crafters and other vendors to participate. The Holiday Carnival will be held in the open lot off Fourth Street, in front of Wild Heart Brewery, and vendors for the Craft Show will be across the street on Cargill Way. Approved vendors are encouraged to set up here in continuation of the three-day festival.

For this inaugural year only, we are waiving the vendor fees to sign up. Vendors must still either have a valid City of Hartsville business license, or obtain a vendor permit for hartsvillesc.gov.

The Artisan Market and Holiday Carnival & Craft Show welcome unique, handmade, and homemade quality products made by local artists, chefs, and farmers. This is a juried show, and, as such, our Festival Committee will review your application and send you a response once your application has been reviewed. Street vendors will only be allowed on November 16th. Home party, multi-level marketing, commercially produced, and political campaigns will not be approved for entry. Applications are due by November 9th.

Please note that non-profits without handmade items to sell will not be given a space inside The Edition, but can be accommodated with an assigned space outside.
