Cute, creepy, and anything in between. Show off your creativity with a Scarecrow in Downtown Hartsville. This is a great way for businesses, organizations, and even just families to help make Downtown Hartsville a festive place to be this fall!

Entry into the contest is free. Should you wish to buy a Scarecrow Starter-Kit from Main Street for $20, we will provide you one.

Prizes will be awarded in both a Judge’s Choice Category and a Social Media People’s Choice Category. Winners receive goodie baskets with goods purchased from Downtown Businesses. Winners will be announced at the Treats on the Green event in Burry Park on October 23rd.

Scarecrows are due by Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 by 5:00 pm. Scarecrows must be registered on our website by October 15th to be entered into the judging. Your scarecrow location will be sent via email the week of the contest.
