Rebecca Giese Promotion

The Downtown Holiday Open House is set to be a great one this year, from refreshments and delicious treats to amazing deals to get all your holiday shopping done! We asked several of our downtown businesses what they were looking forward to this year and for the holiday season.

Hayden Snyder – Down South Sugar

What are you looking forward to most this holiday season?

This Holiday Season I am looking forward to celebrating the holiday with friends and family!

This is your first Open House as a business owner, what are you most excited about for the event?

I am most excited about this year’s event to show the people of Hartsville the incredibly talented vendors I have found to display in my shop! They have such unique talents that have to be shared!! Not to mention my design your own hot chocolate bar we will have! Make sure you stop by Down South Sugar Co. during the Open House.

Brad Carr – Griggs Circle Bakery

What are you looking forward to for the Open House this year?

I’m looking forward to the Centennial Tree Lighting and seeing all the shoppers downtown.

And what is your favorite Holiday treat?

My favorite holiday treat is pumpkin pie.

Sydney Farmer – The Nook

What are you looking forward to for The Nook’s first Open House?

We want to show that we have evolved into more than just a bookstore! While we are still the bookstore that everybody knows and loves, we have become so much more than that! We are looking forward to sharing this season with the community and hope that they find another space that they can call home.

And what are you most looking forward to this holiday season?

We cannot wait for the community to allow us to aid them in giving their loved ones the perfect gift this holiday season! We are so excited to help in any way that we can.

With so many deals and activities during the Open House, we have rounded up all the sales (known at the time of writing this post) to make sure you don’t miss a thing! See the graphic below for all the details, and make sure to come to downtown Hartsville tonight, Thursday, November 21st at 6 pm for the Centennial Tree Lighting and Open House! You won’t want to miss it!
