Skymonk is a Columbia-based alternative blues rock band that was formed by Kelly Nash (guitars, vocals), Scott Roberts (bass guitar, vocals) and Ben Evans (drums). After playing many shows in Columbia and making numerous local and regional radio appearances including WUSC, The Palm and WXRY, Skymonk is now making an East Coast tour this fall to support their latest EP release.

Skymonk’s influences come from many sources, but the band focuses mostly on rock, blues and alternative music. Taking elements of groups including Mutemath and the John Butler Trio, the band compiles energetic, melodic rock, syncopated rhythms and soaring melodies in a way that moves and connects them with their audience.
